Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cook book writer and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and has aired 27 seasons till 2020. Ina Garten began her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget reports. Though she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually became bored. She then bought a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food store. Before selling the business it took her more than 18 years building it to the most successful shop. A number of different cookbooks and magazines followed. Another hit was her Food Network Television show. In addition, she offers products ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and equipment. Ina she is a self-taught cook, has never studied at a culinary school or in a hotel. Her name is ascribed to her easy approach to cooking and effortless entertaining. Her most popular recipes include the lemon chicken that she grills in a skillet and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
