Simone
Biles was a rising superstar in 2013, as she took home the All-Around title as well as 2 World Championship golds. Then she won the four Worlds Golds during 2014 and an additional four golds in 2015. Rio 2016 was her first Olympics. In the year before Biles was already a star athlete at the Olympics. Biles was not disappointed. She took gold for Team events, the vault, the floor as well as the all-around. And she won bronze for the beam. The foundation of her dominance is her mastery of gymnastics basics. The tiny size of 4 feet 8 inches, combined with incredible athleticism and power as well as a low-centre of gravity make her the perfect gymnast. A combination of determination with a sense of humor and imagination makes her nearly unbeatable.
