Hayley is an American actor and singer. People are familiar with her because of her role in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television The Goldbergs.' But, she is to be primarily an artist. She says that music is always been her primary love. At the age 12 she was taking the music seriously enough that she began studying professionally. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13 and was 14 when she made her debut album of covers songs. Since then she's not ever looked back. Orrantia was born in America, has Hispanic roots. Although she spoke only English throughout her childhood and not been to Mexico Orrantia feels extremely happy with her Hispanic background. In order to preserve her heritage, she is learning Spanish. Also, she writes songs based on the language. "Hasta Verte," a track that she wrote in Spanish is an example of this. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the debut Season of The X Factor. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X-Factor following the submission of a YouTube performance video. The judge gave her four "yes" vote of the judge in the live stage show in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was solo however, during "Hollywood week" she was paired together with three female singers in a trio for remaining auditions. The live shows were held in the 5th week.
